To reach the viewing platform, visitors can climb a historic spiral staircase (258 steps!) up to a height of 60 metres at the base of the spire.✓ oleviste.ee/church/the-viewing-platform · 2026-10-12The viewing platform of St. Olaf’s Church was first opened in 2002 and has since become one of Tallinn’s most popular attractions. It offers a magnificent view of Tallinn’s Old Town and, of course, far beyond. To reach the viewing platform, visitors can climb a historic spiral staircase (258 steps!) up to a height of 60 metres at the base of the spire. The total height of the tower is 123.7 metres.
