We are also responsible for public art in the city. The Museum is a dynamic and progressive platform where the public can experience a broad spectrum of visual arts of the past and the present. We exhibit leading Icelandic and international artists, historical research projects, as well as emerging local talents. Every year around fifteen exhibitions of different sizes are opened in the three locations.
