Il museo è dotato di dispositivi per l’accesso alle persone disabili. Marciapiede raccordato in prossimità dell’ingresso. Occorre avvisare il personale (non c’è campanello) per posizionare la pedana mobile al portone principale: dislivello di 12 cm a salire e di 6 cm a scendere (soglia rialzata).Palazzo Davanzati was built in the Fourteenth Century by the Davizzi family, Florentine merchants and bankers. Passed to the Davanzati, it was purchased and restored at the beginning of the Twentieth Century by Elia Volpi, who transformed it into a vivid testimony of the life and comforts of ancient noble families, within a magnificent and singular medieval house in Florence.

Passato ai Davanzati, fu acquistato e restaurato all'inizio del Novecento da Elia Volpi, che lo trasformò nella viva testimonianza della vita e degli agi delle antiche famiglie signorili, all'interno di una magnifica e singolare casa medievale di Firenze.
