De Hoge Veluwe National Park is located between Arnhem, Ede, and Apeldoorn. The park entrances are in Hoenderloo, Otterlo, and Schaarsbergen. Otterlo is the busiest entrance, so we recommend using the Schaarsbergen or Hoenderloo entrance.

Even if you use a wheelchair or have another disability, there are plenty of ways to explore the Park. Several walking routes in the Park are suitable for wheelchairs.

With the exception of dogs and horses, pets or other animals, including companion animals, are not allowed in the Park. Dogs and horses are only allowed in the Park if on a physical leash or halter. The use of an electronic leash or alternative device is not permitted. Dogs and horses are not allowed in the Park buildings, with the exception of dogs in the Park Restaurant/Park Shop. Assistance dogs and/or guide dogs for the visually impaired are always permitted.
