The Espai Bombers - Barcelona Fire Prevention Station is located in the former Poble Sec Fire Station. It was built for the 1929 International Expo and was a pioneering building in its day, adapted to the needs of the fire services. It is the oldest fire station in Spain and the only historical station still intact in Barcelona.
