How much does L'Hemisfèric cost?
A standard single session ticket starts from €8.90 for adults (age 13–64). Reduced rates apply for children age 4–12 and seniors over 65 with documentation. Children under 4 enter free. Combo tickets with the Science Museum start from €14.10, and a combined Hemisfèric and Oceanogràfic ticket starts from €41.30. Book at cac.es.
Where do I buy official Hemisfèric tickets?
Official tickets are sold at cac.es. Third-party resellers including Headout, GetYourGuide, and Fever charge a markup for the same timed session. Select your preferred show date and film during the purchase process — seats are not numbered, so arrive at least 15 minutes before the session starts.
What films and shows are currently on?
The programme rotates and includes IMAX documentaries on nature, space and ocean environments, 3D digital cinema, and live planetarium sessions for adults. A dedicated children's planetarium session for ages 3–6 is available. Current showings are listed on the cac.es schedule during the ticket purchase process.
How long does a visit take?
A single screening lasts approximately 45 minutes. Accounting for arrival, seating and the Carl Sagan Perimeter Ring exhibition, allow 1.5–2 hours. Large bags and suitcases are not permitted inside the cinema. Food and drinks are not allowed in the dome.
How do I get to the Hemisfèric?
The Hemisfèric is at Avinguda del Professor López Piñero 5–7, within the City of Arts and Sciences complex. Metro Lines 3 and 5 (Alameda or Marítim-Serreria stops) are approximately 15 minutes' walk. Buses 13, 15, 19, 24, 25, 35, 40, 94 and 95 also serve the complex directly.
