Parking options near Skansen and on Djurgården are very limited. A tip is to park your car in the Gallerian parking garage, Hamngatan 37, and then take the tram to Djurgården. Pets are not allowed at Skansen. Exceptions apply to assistance dogs, which are subject to specific rules. The dog must wear a service vest and must not have direct contact with Skansen’s animals. Assistance dogs are therefore not allowed in Lill-Skansen or the Skansen Aquarium. Before the visit, the handler must sign a declaration confirming that the dog is vaccinated and free from symptoms of infectious disease.
