Standing tickets in the open yard, directly in front of the stage. This is how Elizabethan audiences watched — it's the most atmospheric and cheapest way to see a performance.
What if it rains?
Performances continue in light rain. Groundlings get wet — bring a raincoat. Only cancelled in dangerous weather.
When is the performance season?
Open-air Globe: April to October. Indoor Sam Wanamaker Playhouse: October to April.
